“Are you sure that’s a good idea, mom?” you ask, feeling incredulously hesitant about letting your parents meet Pitch Black. Would they even be able to see him?
“Of course it’s a good idea, it’s a great idea!” your mother exclaims. “We’re very curious and anxious to see this man of yours.”
“Well,” you begin, about to tell your parents that they can’t meet the Boogeyman, but a stern look from your father quickly changes your mind. “I’ll tell him you want to meet.” Your mother grins in excitement while your father gives a nod of approval. “But, I need you guys to do something for me.”
“Excuse me?” your father practically snaps. “You disappear for the longest time and you come back asking us that we do something for you?”
“F/n!” your mother barks, glaring slightly at her husband and coming to your defense again.
“Fine, fine. What is it that you want us to do?” he asks as he tries cooling his temper.
After clearing your throat from being startled by your father’s outburst you speak. “I need you guys to have faith in me and my boyfriend; I need you to believe.” Your parents both share a quizzical look. “You’ll understand when you meet him, I promise.”
“If you say so, hun.” Your mother smiles softly. “We’ll support you no matter what. Right, dear?” She looks to her husband who emits an ambiguous grunt. Your mother, however, takes it as an agreeable grunt.
You breathe out a small sigh of relief. “Thank you, mom, dad,” you say as you pull them both into a hug. “And, I missed you guys.”
“We missed you too, Y/n,” your mother says in a warm murmur as she and your father return the embrace.
TIME LAPSE
As soon as he could return from his trip to the North Pole, Pitch Black meets with you in your bedroom of your parents’ home. He seamlessly slips out of the shadows from under your bed with a pleasant little chuckle. “Were your mum and dad happy to see you?” he asks.
“You have no idea,” you tell him. “And, get this, they want to meet you,” you continue, getting right to the point of this conversation.
“What?” Pitch looks astounded; children never wish to see the Boogeyman let alone adults. “You told them about me?”
“What else was I suppose to tell them?” you say in an exasperated tone.
“It’s alright, it’s alright,” Pitch soothes in that silky voice of his. “I’m not sure how this will work what with parents not believing in me, the Boogeyman, after all. But, we can try anyways.”
“Thank you, Pitch,” you say with a smile.
“But of course. Anything for you, my dear.” He wraps his robed arms around your waist and plants a light kiss to your forehead. “So, when do I meet your parents?”
“Now, if you’d like,” you reply and before Pitch knows it, you’re calling for your parents to come up to your room. “Try not to scare them,” you tell your boyfriend. He gives a single nod while folding his arms behind his back and standing tall, looking to appear his best.
In a few short minutes, your parents are standing in your bedroom doorway. Your mother’s mouth hangs open in shock while a mixed look of confusion and strangeness crosses your father’s face. You look back and forth several times between your parents and Pitch, disbelief and excitement shining in your eyes.
They could see him.

Pitch's return ch.26
Chapter 26
"Just be glad we didn't leave ya out there," Bunnymund replied.
"I'm only glad when I'm making people miserable." Pitch pointed out.
"That's not true," Jack said, thinking of all the times he and Pitch had fun.
Pitch shrugged. "You're the exception, I suppose." He turned to look at the Guardians that scowled at him. "So then, are you going to interrogate me?" The boy looked back and fourth between them nervously.
"Question," North clarified. He thought that it might be a more kid-friendly word for Jack.
"Ah, 'question.'" He snickered. "If you wanted to 'question' me so badly, why didn't you pay me a visit?"

Pitch's return ch.20
Chapter 20
Jack and Pitch landed back outside the lair when the sun was just starting to come up. Jack couldn't stop giggling and stumbled when he landed. "Dude, people at that resort in Hawaii are going to freak when they step outside!"
"The guardians are going to be all over you for that, Jack." Pitch replied.
"Worth it!" The boy shouted stumbling and falling into Pitch's arms. He rubbed his eyes tiredly. "I think I'm out of snow and ice."
"I wouldn't be surprised." Pitch said, picking Jack up. "You outdid yourself wherever it was winter, and a few other places as well." Jack smiled sheepishly as Pitch walked inside.
